There has been an accident, and your vehicle needs auto body repairs. If you haven’t needed this type of repair before, you might wonder how to choose an auto body shop. You might wonder what to expect when you arrive at the collision center after selecting one.

With four key elements you don’t always find at auto body shops, Fairway Collision Center provides a better repair experience than you expect:

  • Premier-level customer service
  • Highly trained, certified auto repair technicians
  • A commitment to safe, professional repairs
  • High-tech repair tools, equipment, and processes

Fairway Collision Center is equipped to perform a full range of repairs, from paintless dent repair to glass repair to full collision repair. We have the latest auto body equipment available to repair recent models made with metal alloys and other high-tech materials. To ensure that our repairs meet your expectations as well as our own, we employ computerized quality control procedures.

First visit.

We want your first visit to Fairway Collision Center to be different from anything you’ve ever experienced with an auto repair shop. Thus, we go to great lengths to make you feel comfortable, relaxed, and confident that we will properly restore your vehicle to its pre-accident condition.

We explain to you not just what repairs are needed for your vehicle, but also why. The moment you hand us the keys to your car, until your vehicle is returned to you, we explain everything that will happen. We will also file your insurance claim. Since we want to earn your trust and confidence, we do not proceed with the repair process until you fully understand what needs to be done and why.

Complete damage analysis.

Many auto body repair shops only look at the visible damage to your vehicle and prepare their written estimate based on that. We at Fairway Collision Center begin by disassembling the damaged areas to check for underlying damage that otherwise wouldn’t be apparent.

Afterwards, we document all damage to your vehicle and use it to develop a repair plan identifying the necessary repairs.

A copy of the repair plan is provided to you, along with all the details and answers to any questions you may have. Your insurance company will also receive the repair plan. We order the parts and begin repairing your vehicle as soon as they arrive after they authorize the repair work outlined in the plan.

Body department.

We strive to restore your vehicle’s body to factory specs with every repair. Maintaining the structural integrity and safety of your car is imperative, regardless of how extensive the damage is.

It is a myth that a car’s frame cannot be repaired if it is bent in a collision. This is not true. The equipment our expert technicians use allows them to measure and restore critical repair points within the original manufacture’s tolerances. We will obtain authorization from you and your insurance company prior to undergoing any additional repairs not listed on the repair plan.

All makes and models of passenger cars and light trucks, including luxury models and foreign models, can be repaired by our experience, expertise, and equipment.

Paint prep.

Following the body work, the next step involves preparing and repainting the damaged areas. Preparation and undercoat are just as important – if not more important – than the top coat color since they influence the paint’s durability and longevity. In order to get these critical steps right, we use high-quality products.

In addition to removing all trim parts, we mask them so overspray will not affect undamaged areas. Our computerized color matching ensures that the new paint matches the existing paint perfectly.

Refinish process.

Then comes the top coat refinishing process. We paint your vehicle in a specially designed paint booth created to mimic factory conditions. Using this method, we can bake the paint at the high temperatures needed to create a factory-quality finish in a dust-free, controlled environment. Afterwards, we apply a protective clear coat to give the top coat a showroom sheen. Lastly, the paint is polished with specialized equipment. Thus, the repaired parts match the material’s texture of the undamaged parts.

Vehicle assembly.

Following the paint process, we reassemble everything, taking extra care to avoid scratching or chipping newly painted areas. Every disassembled part is reinstalled, adjusted, and aligned to match adjacent parts that are undamaged. Assembled vehicles are then inspected for every aspect of “invisible repair” compliance.

Final detail.

To verify the quality of your repairs, we use a completed repairs checklist. Any dust accumulated in the nooks and crannies during the repair process is cleaned out. Now your car is ready for delivery.

Vehicle delivery.

There’s still time for you to drive away. Our customer service representative reviews all repairs that have been performed and responds to any questions you may have. Documents detailing all repairs are provided to you, along with care instructions for your newly repaired vehicle. The warranty on all repairs is also limited to a lifetime.
