Fairway Collision and Automotive is a 3rd-generation, family-owned and operated auto mechanic and body shop in Vadnais Heights, Minnesota.

For almost 45 years, Fairway has made customer satisfaction our top priority, earning most of its business by word of mouth and high ratings.

We’re committed to taking care of all of our customer’s automotive needs by offering rental vehicles, utilizing the most efficient and advanced tools and processes, to expediting the process with computerized estimates. We make your auto repair experience as seamless as possible!

For more than a decade, Fairway has been Lexus of Maplewood’s preferred collision repair partner and is a member of the Assured Performance Network of qualified auto body shops. Because of its active role in automotive product development, Fairway has also earned 3M “Top Shop” status and is a Dupont test shop and member of its Performance Alliance.

We are known for our aluminum work and are committed to keeping up-to-date on all industry advances. We were one of the first auto body shops in Minnesota to complete the extensive training and procure the equipment necessary to get our Aluminum Truck repair certification.

The Fairway Collision and Automotive Story

Mike and Jane Lund founded Fairway Collision and Automotive in 1975, when they purchased an old beer warehouse and turned it into an auto body repair shop. Mike fixed the cars and Jane managed the office.

Throughout the next 45 years, we have expanded our shop to over 23,500 square feet. All three of Mike and Jane’s children (Kevin Lund, Cary Lund and Pam Caruth) started working in the business during their high school and college years, and when Mike and Jane retired in 2000, Kevin, Cary and Pam purchased the business.

Now, Fairway has more than 30 dedicated employees. Kevin, Cary and Pam are all managing the business as a team and have added a second location with the acquisition of Bill’s Auto body in Forest Lake. The trio has hands-on experience in all aspects of the business. They remain committed to operating “the Fair Way,” and to the continuous improvement that leads to flawless quality and complete customer satisfaction.

The third generation of Lunds have recently joined the business as well. Kollin and Connor Lund are now estimators at Fairway and hope to continue the growth and commitment to both businesses!

Just wanted to drop a line. Thanks to Steve, the front desk and all that worked on my silver 2000 Cadillac STS. My bumper looks great and it looks like you detailed my car, wow looks nice! Almost 200,000 miles and cleans up pretty nice yet. I notice all the attention to detail like cleaning the complete car, wheels, and inside.

I've had any needed body work done at this shop for 40 years as the attention to detail is impeccable. Took a 2003 BMW M3 in last week to have my steering suspension aligned. I wanted to let you know how absolutely great it was working with Fairway to get my Venza back to beautiful. On a Friday before I was to leave to go on the vacation the next week, I was in a car accident that damaged my beautiful Toyota Venza. Every day I opened my driver door to a lurching squeal was torture. Fairway had done work for me in the past on another vehicle, Troy did a quick estimate but didn’t think they’d be able to get all the parts in and work done while I was out of town (a little longer than over a weekend) Troy and I agreed I’d leave my car while I was away – I didn’t need it and he made an appointment with Enterprise to meet me the day I returned to give me a rental until my car was finished. I had been gone only 2 working days when Troy called me to let me know that no rental would be needed and that I could pick up my car the day I returned from my trip. I was floored and beyond pleased. I’m ashamed to admit that I didn’t want to drive the rental car. The body work is perfect, my car restored to her deserved beauty. The very unexpected icing on the cake is that Fairway detailed my car. The interior is absolutely pristine, new car look and small. Well, honestly, a little strong on the small but it faded quickly. Fairway Collision doers a fantastic job. I hope I’m never is an accident again, but, it happens, I’ll be back at Fairway Collision. No content, no competition, no thought needed.

This letter is just our tribute to Fairway Collision. We have used this company over the years for both car service and body repair. We simply have to say first of all that the service they give is second to none. Everyone is friendly, helpful and above honest. On at least two occasions, they have been able to solve a problem with little or no change wen others couldn’t or wouldn’t. We know that when a problem with a vehicle comes up we will be in good hands and that we won’t be overcharges for that service. You have no idea how much that means in this fast paced world of green and mostly no customer service.

Also, I may have told you before, but my first job off my dad’s farm was the grading of the 3-hole golf course at your property for Al Jansen. That was an experience with Mr. Jansen. For the first three hours I had to listen to him say we will never get this done, and then for the second three hours hear him say “we can do this”, this was all – he wanted everything in an instant.
